oh wow someone replied? i feel slightly on the spot XD it seems to becoming rarer for someone to reply unless you already know them. its kinda sad..... i wish you all the best of luck with your artistic future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well, talent in art can be acquired with practice. If you are really interested in something, there's no way you can fail to get it. That simple. Also, you can get tips and techniques from artist in this site. Just ask them.
i've been drawing for a long time. but only on my notebook. I suck at coloring and stuff. Just a ballpen and my notebook. hehehe. Find a good motivational force to keep you on track. My motivation is being able to learn coloring on photoshop. Youtube tutorials and deviant artist tips helps a lot.
i remember when i first started on photoshop, for a long time i dispised it! my only motivation was that i wasnt gonna let it defeat me. and now i adore using it XD just need to get better at it... ive only bin drawing for a few years now, and i know ive gotten better its just, i see all the awesome stuff on here and i get really frustrated cos im not at that level yet.
well, the key here is patience. When I was in highschool, I had a classmate that can draw DBZ characters so well. I tried to draw the same way he did. Took me 3 years to actually got to his level. hehe.
Sometimes, I try to understand how this awesome artist do their art. I tried to study their style. I attended some anime convention before just to know how they draw characters and how to color them. It actually paid off for me. I've only been using photoshop since late 2007 I guess.
Just keep practicing. If you are eager to rise to their level. Keep practicing and hone your skills.
